my story
Throughout my career as a chef I have always directed my creations to the customer to make them extremely happy, one bite at a time. I first apprenticed at a fine-dining restaurant in Texas (USA) and quickly learned that the best culinary teaching does not come from a school, but is discovered from within. I cooked endlessly, practiced hard and absorbed every bit of knowledge I could from my mentors.
I journeyed on, working in places like Seattle, L.A., Panama, NYC, and also as the head chef for a 100m super-yacht around the Mediterranean. I’ve enjoyed cooking for friends and family as much as I did for celebrities such as Martha Stewart, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michael Douglas, George H. W. Bush (Senior), Nelson Mandela (for his 89th birthday!), and many more.
Mallorca then became my home, and all of my training and countless hours behind the stove became my asset to create unique culinary experiences with Private Chef Mallorca (since 2012) as well as my Chef’s Table at the Kitchen Space Palma.
My philosophy stayed simple during all these years. Great food is made from the heart. Every meal should have a taste of the passion of its creator. My passion is adventure and discovery. I get inspired by new cultures, flavours, textures, and your stories.
And furthermore, to pass on my knowledge to the next generation of chefs, I’ve founded The Chefcademy.
